Dog Diapers Sizing Tips:
- Do not guess your dog's size. Measure your dog's waist in front of their back legs, like the diagram to the left.
- If your dog is in between sizes, factor in their weight; i.e. a heavier dog, go up a size, a skinnier dog, go down a size.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often will I need to change the diaper?
Our diapers are super absorbent with a sewn in absorbency pad and leak proof and water proof exterior shell. However, just like human babies, we suggests you to change it as often as possible. If your pup is fully urinating in the diaper it will need to be change more often than spotting or minor leakage.
Do your diapers work for animals other than a cat or a dog?
Our diapers are great for all pets. We have pet parents use the with dogs, cats, ferrets, goats, and even ducks! The dog diapers and cat diapers do function the same.
My pet is between two sizes. Which do I order?
Since pets come in all shapes & sizes, it is best that you take into consideration your pet's body type when trying to choose between 2 different sizes. It can be tricky when they are right between the two, but if your pet has a bigger & bulkier frame, legs, & hind, we suggest ordering the larger size. Or if they have a petite body type; a smaller frame, legs & hind, we suggest ordering the smaller size. Just like with humans & our clothes, when we are in between sizes we have to take into consideration all of the factors when deciding, and no one knows their pet better than you! If you are still unsure, our Extendrs® might be an option for you!
What do I do if the diaper keeps slipping off of my pet?
Most often, slipping occurs when the diaper is the wrong size or is not properly adjusted. If your pet has never worn a diaper before and is not used to it, it is possible that they are trying, and succeeding, to remove it in the night or when you are not looking. We would suggest putting them in the diaper during times you can see them and using positive reinforcement, treats and praise, when they keep it on until they are more comfortable with it.
Does the velcro need to be completely covered?
The velcro does not have to be completely covered to ensure a perfect fit. This is to allow pet parents adjustability. If you are concerned with uncovered velcro, our Covrs® might be an option for you!
Will the tail hole be too tight if I have a pet with larger tail?
The tail hole is made with elastic and can stretch or contract where needed in order to accomodate any size tail and ensure any mess stays in the diaper. For our furbabies with fluffier or thicker tails, we recommend giving a few strong tugs on the elastic to help give the tail hole a little stretch, releasing some tension in the new elastic.
Can I wash the diaper with bleach and softener?
Our washing instructions + additional ways to get odor out is on our washing page for your convenience: https://petparentsbrand.com/pages/washing-instructions/diapers. Bleach and softener should not be used as other washing methods may mess with the diaper's absorbency!

These diapers are a great solution. The only issue for my dog is that the tail hole is much too large and so her poo leaks out. Even so it’s greatly better than without the diaper.

Our aged Min has urinary incontinence episodes especially at night. I was concerned that she would be fussing with the diaper to remove it, but she proudly stands up to have us put it on her, and they are completely waterproof and easy to wash. Highly recommended.

Adjusting to 2 incontinent pugs has been a challenge, but Pet Parents’ washable diapers have made it easier. The dogs are apparently comfortable in them because they don’t try to take them off. The diapers work well. I’m a satisfied customer.

Have been using washable diapers on my pug for a week. It's a good product - holds a lot with no leakage, washes and dries easily and the pug seems to be comfortable wearing them. They're easy to put on and take off. Thanks for making my life with an incontinent geriatric dog less challenging.
