Can I use fabric softener when washing?
The use of fabric softener or bleach will reduce absorbency, therefore we do not recommend using these products when washing.
Does the liquid absorb into the blanket? Could I use it to protect the couch or a mattress from an incontinent dog, or is it just supposed to be used as a cozy throw?
Our Pawtect® Blankets are so much more than just a cozy throw! They are 100% waterproof, our Plus blanket offers heavy duty absorption, and the LockJaw® binding is great for dissuading chewers, making this a great couch cover for dogs or mattress protector!

This blanket is great! Our 3 dogs love it and I will be buying another one (or maybe two). My dogs haven’t had any accidents on it yet, so I cannot attest to whether or not it works for that. But, it’s a good quality, soft blanket. My dogs are happy with, so that makes me happy with it!
