It is about showing how thankful we are we got pets in our lives and here are simple yet touching ways on how we can pay them back for being our furry best friends.

Spend More Quality Time
Quality time is important in any relationship. So this Pet Appreciation Week, put those phones down, turn off those TVs and go cuddle, play fight, or tickle your pet's favorite spots! Spending quality time with your dog not only lessens your stress and anxiety, but you will also be amazed by how much closer you two will become. You will not only find yourselves looking forward to goofing around with each other but you will also encourage your pet to use his cognitive functions as well.
Treats! Treats! More Treats!
Your pet will definitely love treats! Give rewards to your pet every time he does good. With that, he will then be able to associate the rewards with doing good and will identify his self that he's been a good boy all along.
Fancy Pampering
Your pets, aside from daily grooming, also loves being pampered like the queen and king that they are. Pamper your dog with massages, fur brushing, and steamy baths. Pet pampering treatments can help enhance your pet's well being . For instance, an animal massage has similar health advantages to that of a human's and some spa treatments can alleviate certain skin conditions in your pets. Though there are issues that spa treatments can cost too much for your pooch, it will all depend on why you're doing it. If it is for their benefit and you see your pet won't suffer then that will not be a problem.
Focus on Your Pet's Health
Though it does not seem as fun, your pet's health should be one of your priorities this Pet Appreciation Week. Focus on your pet's health, like brushing his teeth, clipping his nails and visiting your vet for tests on any health issues you haven't noticed yet.
Be Active for Pet Appreciation Week.
Extend your dog's walks, play times and outdoor adventures. As they say, tired dogs are happy dogs. And what is more important for your dog than to stay healthy and happy by being active?
Pet Appreciation Week is a great time to show our pets how much they mean to us. Our love and appreciation can be shown in many ways to show them how we treasure them for being such important part of our lives.
