- Do not guess your dog's size. Measure your dog's waist in front of his back legs, like the diagram to the left.
- If your dog is in between sizes, factor in their weight; i.e. a heavier dog, go up a size, a skinnier dog, go down a size.

How often will I need to change the bands?
Our bands are super absorbent with a sewn in absorbency pad and leak proof and waterproof exterior shell. However just like human babies, we suggests you to change it as often as possible. If your pup is fully urinating in the belly band it will need to be change more often than minor leakage.
Do these bands work for animals other than a dog?
Our bands are great for all pets. We have pet parents use the with dogs, ferrets, goats, and even ducks!
My pet is between two sizes. Which do I order?
Since pets come in all shapes & sizes, it is best that you take into consideration your pet's body type when trying to choose between 2 different sizes. It can be tricky when they are right between the two, but if your pet has a bigger & bulkier frame, legs, & hind, we suggest ordering the larger size. Or if they have a petite body type; a smaller frame, legs & hind, we suggest ordering the smaller size. Just like with humans & our clothes, when we are in between sizes we have to take into consideration all of the factors when deciding, and no one knows their pet better than you! If you are still unsure, our Extendrs® might be an option for you!
What do I do if the band keeps slipping off of my pet?
Most often, slipping occurs when the band is the wrong size or is not properly adjusted. If your pet has never worn a belly band before and is not used to it, it is possible that they are trying, and succeeding, to remove it in the night or when you are not looking. We would suggest putting them in the band during times you can see them and using positive reinforcement, treats and praise, when they keep it on until they are more comfortable with it.
Does the velcro need to be completely covered?
Velcro does not have to be completely covered to ensure a perfect fit. This is to allow pet parents adjustability. If you are concerned about uncovered velcro, our Covrs® might be an option for you!
Can I wash the band with bleach and softener?
Our washing instructions + additional ways to get odor out is on our washing page for your convenience: https://petparentsbrand.com/pages/washing-instructions/belly-bands. Bleach and softener should not be used as other washing methods may mess with the belly band's absorbency!

They are great but my dog has a long body corgi type shape so does not really work for him ! But I love their diapers they great quality I also purchased several of there blankets they are so worth it affordable great quality along with their dog bowls my dogs really enjoy these and their own soft blankets that will last forever !!

The extension is great for the belly band. I do with the velcro was a little larger as to cover up all of the Velcro it is attaching to. My poodles hair gets stuck in the one side of Velcro. I manipulated it to work but I think this would help the product sell better- Bigger Velcro patch.
